Our commitment is to protect your digital personal data in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). This policy outlines your rights as a user (Data Principal) and our obligations as the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing your data (Data Fiduciary).

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the choices you make. This may include:

  • Contact Information: Your name, email address, and WhatsApp phone number when you fill out a form or initiate a chat.

  • Communications: The content of your correspondence with us, including live chat, email, or WhatsApp inquiries.

  • Transaction Data: When you enroll in a paid program like The AivotLife Catalyst, your payment details are handled by our external PCI-compliant payment gateway (Razorpay). We do not store your full credit card or bank account information on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent. We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide Our Services: To process your enrollment in our programs, send you information and updates about your order, and deliver program-related communications (like Zoom links and reminders) via WhatsApp and email.

  • Respond to Inquiries: To follow up with you after correspondence and provide customer service.

  • Personalize Your Experience: To deliver the type of content and program offerings in which you are most interested.

  • Marketing Communications: To send you additional information related to our products and services, provided you have given us consent to do so.

4. Consent

Your consent is the legal basis for processing your personal data. Before we collect any information, we will provide you with a clear and plain-language notice explaining what data is being collected and for what specific purpose.

Your consent must be a free, specific, informed, and unambiguous expression of will with a clear affirmative action. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the process for doing so will be as easy as it was to give it.

5. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDPA, 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a summary of the personal data we are processing.

  • Right to Correction and Erasure: You can request the correction of inaccurate or misleading personal data and the erasure of your data once its specified purpose is no longer being served.

  • Right to Grievance Redressal: You have the right to an easily accessible way to address any grievances you may have regarding our handling of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Grievance Officer (details in Section 12).

6. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your personal data. We implement reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches, including technical and organizational measures like encryption and access controls to protect the data under our control.

7. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website or conducting our business (like our payment gateway Razorpay), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential and comply with the law.

8. WhatsApp Business Cloud API Usage

We use the WhatsApp Business Cloud API provided by Meta Platforms to respond to user-initiated messages. All conversations on WhatsApp occur only when the user has explicitly initiated contact with us (for example, by clicking a Click-To-WhatsApp advertisement).

We do not use WhatsApp to send unsolicited promotional messages.

9. Purpose Limitation

WhatsApp numbers provided to us are used strictly for:

  • Responding to inquiries initiated by the user.

  • Sharing service-related information (program details, payment confirmations, event reminders).

  • Following up within the permitted 24-hour session window or through pre-approved message templates.

We do not use WhatsApp numbers for any unrelated marketing or third-party purposes.

10. Data Retention

We retain WhatsApp communication data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Once the specified purpose is served, your WhatsApp communication data will be deleted or anonymized.

11. User Choice

If you no longer wish to receive messages from us on WhatsApp, you may notify us at any time by replying with “STOP” in the chat or by emailing support@aivotschool.com.

We will respect your choice and discontinue WhatsApp communication, except for legally or contractually necessary notices.

12. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the DPDPA, 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address your concerns and grievances regarding your personal data.

We will respond to any grievances within the period prescribed by law. You must exhaust this opportunity to redress your grievance before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
